Course curriculum
Correct husbandry and handling is the first step on the road to patient rehabilitation. When it comes to wildlife, this carries other considerations when compared to our domestic species. Many habits and methods are not ideal for wildlife and can cause more harm than good. This course will give you the skills to assess a wild animal's needs in terms of short term housing to give it the best chance at survival and eventual release. This project is proudly supported by WWF’s Regenerate Australia program and is currently free for WA veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
