The three-day practical course has been carefully developed to help empower veterinary professionals to confidently treat wildlife cases and assist in times of crisis.
The three-day practical courses will be run on a weekly basis until January 2025 with a 4-person limit per session.
By signing up for this course, you consent to being added to IFAW's contact list and agree to be contacted in the event of an emergency to assist with wildlife cases, subject to your availability.
While participation in emergency responses is not mandated, your willingness to assist is a crucial part of the support system that makes this subsidised training possible. We hope that you will be able to contribute your skills when needed. Your commitment helps ensure that we can continue to offer such valuable training opportunities in the future.
Please note that eligibility for this course is currently restricted to veterinarians registered to practice in Australia and RVNs registered in Western Australia. Proof of registration must be presented to sign up. There may be future opportunities for individuals who do not currently fit this criteria.
